CIRENCESTER MARKET

Regulations Update

Cirencester has been placed into the highest Tier 4.  All Markets must operate as “drop and go” so unfortunately, Vendors are not allowed into the market to see their stock sold.

Vendors:

You must drop your stock and go. This action is to prevent any sellers from entering the market.

Vendors MUST deliver their animals to the loading docks (remaining in their vehicles) whilst the market staff unload the vehicle and take the animals to their pens.  The sale documentation MUST be collected by the auctioneer's staff from the vendor's vehicle when they arrive at the unloading docks – Vendors MUST NOT take the paperwork to the market office themselves, or enter the market pennage area.

Please leave any selling instructions with the auctioneer but please put a contactable mobile phone number on your paperwork. The Lorry wash is open to Hauliers Only, Vendors to wash at home.

Vehicles MUST disinfect wheels on leaving the site.

Buyers:

The number of buyers MUST be restricted to allow Social Distancing between each buyer.  Only ONE person per business and only buyers intending on purchasing on that day. Onlookers or more than one person per business will be asked to leave the market.

Markets will keep a register of those that attend their sales – contact name, address and telephone number. Please register at office window on arrival.  Buyers will be asked to sanitise on entry to the market and again on exit.  Please note the market canteen is open for take away drinks & food only.

The office door is closed and all enquires & payments at the windows.

Please respect other market users and market staff.

NO ON LOOKERS, SOCIAL VISITS OR CHILDREN

Thank you for your Co-operation
